Old and New

As The previous chapter my life closes a new one opens. Today was my last day of classes. It's going to be hard to move on from this. I have spent six years at SCHS. I am going to miss it. I know that God has lots of new things coming my way. I am exciting to see what God has in store for my life at School of ministers. It is going to be a challenging but fun experience.

Summer Plans

I have no idea what I am going to do this summer. The other day I learned that its okay not to know what is going to happen next. Whether it is the next hour, day, or week because God always knows what will happen next. "You have searched me, Lord, and you know me. You know when I sit and when I rise; you perceive my thoughts from afar. You discern my going out and my lying down; you are familiar with all my ways. Before a word is on my tongue you, Lord, know it completely. You hem me in behind and before, and you lay your hand upon me. Such knowledge is too wonderful for me, too lofty for me to attain". (Psalm 139:1-6) Its okay if we just let opportunities arise and take hold of them. "Make the most of every opportunity". (Colossians 4:5b)

Finding Beauty

I have learned in the last while that to enjoy life, we need to find beauty in things around us like a sunset or a nice photo of yourself or whatever, find the beauty that God has created and blessed us with. "The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands" (Psalm 19:1). "He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also, he has put eternity into man's heart, yet so that he cannot find out what God has done from the beginning to the end" (Ecclesiastes 3:11).
