Fun doesn't have to be a bad word

God isn't the killer of fun, the devil is. The devil has given us a warped definition of fun. Since when does fun mean getting drunk, going to clubs, faking it till you make it, being self centred, ignoring God, doing what you think is best, following your heart and having a so called "good time".  That is not the true, the godly or even the realistic definition of fun. Fun is something that should bring true Joy,  everlasting Life, hope in hard times, peace in the midst of chaos, and be satisfying to the soul. Being more like christ should be fun, but we in our flesh see it as something completely different. We see it as something we have to fit in, find time for. We should be so focused on God that we only see people through his eyes, we only do what his heart desires. We make our plans constantly trying to do something we find satisfying, but we will never find it, at least not on our own, following our heart. We need to follow his heart, hear his voice. Fun is: spending time with people who re important to you, growing in love for God and others, experiencing all God has to offer, taking godly risks in faith, pray for others, and build relationships with stranger to lead them to christ. Fun is anything that we do that is worth while, that brings a smile to our face, Joy in our hearts, and furthers the kingdom of God. The worldly definition of fun is worthless, time wasting, destructive  and deadly. God's definition of fun is priceless, useful, builds us up, and leads to true life. Fun isn't like what it used to be. Lets bring fun back to the way God intended.

She is the Perfect combination of Princess and Warrior

"She is the perfect combination of princess and warrior"

This statement is so true for many of the amazing and inspiring women in my life. Something about this quote caught my attention, but I didn't know exactly why other than I liked the phrase, but now I am in love with it. Please take the time to read this, this is what God wants me to post for all of you, but I didn't write it, God used his words through my fingers to type this. Hope you enjoy, all you ladies this is for you!

Let's start with the word PRINCESS, according to a few definitions That stood out to me this is what a princess is: "the female ruler of a small state, actually, nominally, or originally subject to a king or emperor." God has put us all in control of our self, our actions, thoughts, and words that we speak. For everything we do, we must give an account to God, overall he is in charge. He gives us choices and responsibility, he didn't have to, he chose to. "Usually attractive girl or woman who is treated with special attention and kindness."  God treats us all this way, like we are the best looking and most beautiful, because he all created us with a unique sense of beauty, and that is the kind of attention he gives us, and that is the kind of attention he wants from us. He wants him to be our number, because we are his number one. In Proverbs 31:10b it says "She is more precious than rubies", also in proverbs 31:25-26 it says "She is clothed with strength and dignity, and she laughs without fear of the future. When she speaks, her words are wise, and she gives instructions with kindness". I know the chapter is about being a wife, but I have always found that chapter to be encouraging about any women, if we follow God we can be these things no matter what stage of life we are at.

Next let's look at WARRIOR: according to the dictionary on the internet these are the definitions that stood out to me, "brave or experienced fighter. a person who fights in battles and is known for having courage and skill. A person engaged in some struggle or conflict". We all have experience many struggles. Whether it is our flesh, or straight evil from the devil. We know we are in a battle, we may not feel like we are brave or courageous but we are. God has given us every tool we need to fight, including the armour of God discussed in Ephesians 6 :10-20. God also says "Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.” (James 4:7). We all know the devil has lots of power and it is hard or even seemingly impossible to defeat at times. We also know that God is the strongest, wisest, and most powerful of any living being and every created thing. He has all we need. When we are weak, he is strong. He fills in everything we lack and increases our strength with his. The devil better watch out because we are on the right side, God's side, and anything is possible with God!

2 Timothy 1:7 "For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline." We have all we need in him.
