Personal Grace

You don't have to be concerned about your sin or failures they are far from who you are, they are so far out of sight, they are not worth being considered. You are free to move past, free to keep going, to keep getting up. These things that drag you down only have power if you let them. God has freed us from those chains of slavery. He has redeemed us and set us free. We can not give up, failure is not who we are neither is success. Jesus calls us by name and calls us son or daughter. This is for me just as much or even more than it is for you. I have been putting pressure on myself, or maybe the devil is feeding me lies. Either way It is so easy to get frustrated when we keep failing or messing up or not attaining this high bar we have set for how we should be. God doesn't give us or make us attain that or reach that. He knows we are not perfect and that "all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God" (Romans 3:23). "Sin is no longer your master, for you no longer live under the requirements of the law. Instead, you live under the freedom of God's grace." (Romans 6:14).

"But God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which he loved us, even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ— by grace you have been saved—and raised us up with him and seated us with him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, so that in the coming ages he might show the immeasurable riches of his grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast" (Ephesians 2:4-9).

God with us

“The LORD is my shepherd; I have all that I need. He lets me rest in green meadows; he leads me beside peaceful streams. He renews my strength. He guides me along right paths, bringing honour to his name. Even when I walk through the darkest valley, I will not be afraid, for you are close beside me. Your rod and your staff protect and comfort me. You prepare a feast for me in the presence of my enemies. You honour me by anointing my head with oil. My cup overflows with blessings. Surely your goodness and unfailing love will pursue me all the days of my life, and I will live in the house of the LORD forever.” Psalms 23:1-6 NLT

We need God we can't do things on our own, If we rely on our self we fall again and again and each time it is harder to get up. When God is what we rely on we fall again and again and each time we get up it is easier. God makes everything better, easier, more satisfying. We need to push through suffering, sin and doubt, in order to experience the fullness of who he is. When we get past our blurred view, we experience his rest clarity and guidance. He wants to give us these things but we don't always let him. It is all for him, nothing we do is for us. He gives us  everything and expects everything from us.

What we do on our own has no value, and no purpose. What we do with God is priceless and purposeful. We have nothing to lose but everything to gain. We may feel alone, but God is always there. He comes closer and closer but what is our response. Do we pull away or do we draw near? It is just like our flight or fight responses. Are we going run away or are we going to run to him? We all know what we should do but do we really believe what the verses of Psalm 23 say? Let's invite God in today, invite him into everything, our inward failures or hurts, and the outward joy and excitement. The good the bad, all of it. All of us known intimately by him, made by him and for him.

Let us show the world who we are in God. We are filled with his spirit, let us act out knowing and enjoying that. God is overflowing our hearts with blessing. All the good he is, all the good he gives, with us and never without us. What a love we have in him. He is our biggest fan, our supporter, our pursuer, our one true love, and the strongest desire of your heart. Lord help us to experience everything these verses offer, everything you offer us. Let us not forget or dismiss what you want for us and what is best for us. We are yours and you are ours

Time

Time is such an easy thing to waste, but a hard thing to save.
There are so many things are demanding for our attention. It is hard to use time how we should. Obviously no one is perfect but there are always things we can do to change it. For some maybe even most of us, it feels impossible. It's a continuous cycle of feeling or thinking strong about how your day will go and how you will spend your time and on the other hand feeling and thinking weak about how your day went and how you spent your time. We try to fix this problem by saying things or thinking things. But saying things and actually doing them are completely different things. It is strange, the thing that should be cherished most seems to be the thing  mistreated most.

Matthew 6:21 "For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also." If we start to treasure wasting time rather than valuing time. Our hearts will begin to follow our minds. And alter what they value. The more we actually do the things we should with our time we would crave more of the good than the bad. Like the bible says Romans 12:21 "Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good." It is near impossible but God can do the impossible. (Song Impossible-By Newsboys). He can and will help you do anything (Psalm 37:4 "Take delight in the LORD, and he will give you your heart's desires")

Some ending quotes:
"Time is our most precious commodity, it is the only thing we will never get back"
"Time has a wonderful way of showing us what really matters"
"The greatest gift you can give someone is time, when you give your time you are giving a portion of your life that you will never get back"

Apologies

They are hard for most people. It's difficult to admit you are wrong, especially when our pride gets in the way. We as humans were made to be pure, but because of sin we now contain a sinful nature . That nature can cause us to be selfish with our time, money and especially our words. Pride wants you to look out for what it thinks is best, but pride is a cause of sin that can cause us to sin. When we forgive someone Or apologize we slam the door in the face of pride. Because of Jesus spirit in us, we know it is right to do so, we also know that when we forgive or apologize out of a sincere heart, it makes us feel better too. True Apologies benefit us more than we realize. Recognizing our sin and accepting responsibility for what we did, grows our character, Humility is a great opportunity for growth. Humility will cause us to accept our imperfections and focus on  God's perfection.

Ephesians 4:32 "Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you."

Colossians 3:13 "Bearing with one another, and forgiving each other, whoever has a complaint against anyone; just as the Lord forgave you, so also should you."

2 Corinthians 12:9 "But he said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me."

It is better to give then to receive

This has been something on my mind lately. I feel like more often then not I pray for my self or buy something for my self. When I actually do something for someone else or pray for someone else, even if nobody notices you pray or doesn't know you gave them a gift. It really does feel so good, blessed and even fulfilling, so amazing the feeling of peace and joy and love that fills your heart when you do those things or even think about others more then yourself. Don't do it or try because I am telling you but do it because God is telling you and your heart is asking you: Philippians 2:3 "Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves". Also Acts 20:35 "And I have been a constant example of how you can help those in need by working hard. You should remember the words of the Lord Jesus: 'It is more blessed to give than to receive."

Here is some examples of what we can do: Give a smile, Give laughter, Give joy, Give love, Give a compliment. Maybe even give a gift just because, it doesn't have to be something expensive or extraordinary, just a little something to brighten someone's day. Be the good in someone's bad day, even make someone's good day better. Do something small everyday for someone else. You will experience more life and love and peace and joy and etc.. when you do what God says and think more about others. Lets not forget to balance our time. Just because we should focus more on others doesn't mean we forget completely about ourself. Find the balance of filling your self with God's spirit and pouring out  yourself on others. God bless you and all the people you will reach!!

Giving up who I am to get all he is:

None of us deserve God or anything he has to offer, he wants us to have faith and act out of obedience, it's then we receive life, it's then that we know the truth. When we surrender all we are, we gain all he is. We lose our life to find his. We do this out of reverent hearts, and with hope to experience his plans and will for our life. This life we live this body we have is not our own, we are his children, adopted through Jesus death on the cross. We give him what he deserves and receive so much more than we ever thought or deserve.

The Glory of God

It is so evident that the world is filled with the glory of the Lord, to sunrise and sunset, and everything in between, the clouds, the trees, flowing water, and the sun shining radiantly expressing the glory of God's goodness and love for all, how he cares so much to incorporate tiny and sometimes unnoticed details in his creation. The most simple things in life to the most detailed God has his hands in everything. Everyone experiences the beauty, most go without realizing it. The most creative and most awe inspiring God, is the God we serve, the one who made everything, beautiful and good. The one who will heal all the hurt and will solve all the evilness in this world. In his timing we will experience what true beauty really looks like. John 11:40: Then Jesus said, "Did I not tell you that if you believe, you will see the glory of God?".
