Personal Grace

You don't have to be concerned about your sin or failures they are far from who you are, they are so far out of sight, they are not worth being considered. You are free to move past, free to keep going, to keep getting up. These things that drag you down only have power if you let them. God has freed us from those chains of slavery. He has redeemed us and set us free. We can not give up, failure is not who we are neither is success. Jesus calls us by name and calls us son or daughter. This is for me just as much or even more than it is for you. I have been putting pressure on myself, or maybe the devil is feeding me lies. Either way It is so easy to get frustrated when we keep failing or messing up or not attaining this high bar we have set for how we should be. God doesn't give us or make us attain that or reach that. He knows we are not perfect and that "all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God" (Romans 3:23). "Sin is no longer your master, for you no longer live under the requirements of the law. Instead, you live under the freedom of God's grace." (Romans 6:14).

"But God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which he loved us, even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ— by grace you have been saved—and raised us up with him and seated us with him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, so that in the coming ages he might show the immeasurable riches of his grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast" (Ephesians 2:4-9).
